Lao food is similar to Thai food but the people of Lao do not like their dishes super sweet or sour dishes, instead we like the Unami taste. For instinct our Laab and nam khao dish. Many of you who had Thai food know what this is. We keep this dish Unami and spicy! Rice balls seasoned with fresh ginger, curry, and coconut flakes fried and broken up to give it a crispy texture- Nam is added also known as cured pork, is used in the authentic lao dish, the American version uses chicken, the reason for the price different. We also add green onions and cilantro served with a bed of romaine lettuce for wrap.
